The body remembers what the mind sometimes forgets.
Biodynamic massage listens to that deeper intelligence - working with you, not on you, to release what's held and restore a natural sense of balance.

How is Biodynamic Massage different?
Deeply Personalised
You may have had massages before. Biodynamic massage is likely to feel quite different. Rather than following a fixed routine, I draw on a repertoire of nine distinct techniques — from light touch on the skin's surface to deeper work with connective tissue and muscle. Each session is tailored to what your body needs that day. One session may feel gentle and deeply calming; another, more energising and freeing.
The Relationship Matters
Biodynamic massage is not something done to you — it is something we do together. The quality of the relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of this work. Trust, safety and comfort are not extras; they are essential. Everything that happens in our sessions is strictly confidential, and your privacy is always respected.
Guided by your body's own signals

One of the most distinctive aspects of biodynamic massage is the use of an electronic stethoscope. Placed lightly on your abdomen, it allows me to listen to your body's internal response — your digestive sounds — which offer real-time feedback on how you are responding to the touch. Your body, in a very real sense, helps guide the session.
Benefits
People come to biodynamic massage for many different reasons. Some arrive with persistent physical symptoms — tension headaches, back pain, disturbed sleep, or digestive discomfort. Others come feeling emotionally overwhelmed, flat, or simply in need of something they can't quite name. Over time, regular sessions may help you experience:
Physical
Deep relaxation and genuine relief from physical tension.
Relief from chronic symptoms such as headaches, digestive issues and fatigue.
Emotional
Energetic
Greater emotional balance and resilience.
Improved sleep and reduced anxiety.
A renewed sense of connection with your own body.
More energy and a greater sense of ease in daily life.
Is Biodynamic Massage right for me?
Biodynamic massage is suitable for adults of all ages and backgrounds. You do not need to be unwell or have a specific complaint to benefit.
It is particularly well-suited to those who:
Are experiencing stress, burnout or emotional exhaustion.
Feel disconnected from their body or "stuck" in their head.
Carry chronic tension or pain that hasn't responded well to conventional massage.
Are going through a period of change or transition.
Are simply looking for a thoughtful, attuned and unhurried kind of care.
What to expect
What happens in the first session?
We begin with a conversation. I'll ask about your life, your health history and what brings you here. This is not just a formality — it helps me understand you and begin building a picture of what your body might need. Everything you share is completely confidential. The first session typically includes some hands-on work, though we move at a pace that feels right for you.
Do I need to undress?
Not necessarily. Biodynamic massage can be received fully clothed, partly clothed, or in underwear, depending on the techniques being used and what feels most comfortable for you. Your comfort and sense of safety always come first, and you are in control of this at every stage.
How many sessions will I need?
One session can offer real relief and a taste of what this work makes possible. However, lasting change tends to happen over time. Generally, clients initially come for a course of six weekly sessions, after which we can reflect together on how things are going and what feels right going forward.
What will I feel afterwards?
Many people feel deeply relaxed and at ease after a session. Some notice a shift in their mood or a sense of lightness. Occasionally, emotions or sensations may surface in the hours following a session — this is a natural part of the body processing and releasing what it has been holding, and it usually settles quickly.
Is this the same as psychotherapy?
No. Biodynamic massage is a form of bodywork, not talking therapy. While it acknowledges the connection between body and emotions, sessions do not involve structured psychological exploration. If deeper emotional support feels like something you need, I am happy to discuss this with you.
